Avalon is proud to welcome Darren Bregande back to the team as Managing Partner of Avalon’s Syracuse and Utica offices. After working as a Customer Service Representative for Avalon in Syracuse in the early 2000s, Darren jumped back into his former career in financial services, most recently as a Vice President/Branch Manager for Key Bank. (He came back again in 2016, serving as a Legal Account Manager for our Rochester and Syracuse offices.)
Throughout his banking career, which lasted nearly 20 years, Darren had a reputation for building successful teams, acting as a mentor, and delivering world class customer service. He’s always quick to mention that the core values he learned at Avalon were carried over to his work in banking for many years thereafter.
“Avalon has always been near and dear to me,” he says. “I love this company, its offerings, its culture. This is a pretty special place. But we’re not the same company. Our technology and services have changed, and I want our clients to be aware of all the ways we can help them.”
His goals at Avalon are to leverage his sales and service management experience, leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities to develop and grow his team, and to maintain a consistent engagement with clients. Ensuring that Avalon continues to be the number one choice for the complex and unique needs of our customers is also a top priority.
As a father of three children, Darren understands the importance of family and community. His passion for both is what continues to motivate him every day and acts as a reminder of the value of reputation and always doing the right thing.
